Basic News Writing
Article 1 -
"Austin district holds community budget forum tonight"
Faculty, parents, and others listen intently to the administrators, they have a chance to understand what is to come during the next school year. The administrators lay down the 38- million dollar shortfall that has presented itself onto them. Hundreds of people are affected by this cut, employees, parents, and even, students. The A.I.S.D has decided to make these cuts in order to make it through the next school year, properly schooling kids as they should.
People can expect changes by the next school year. Some teachers might not be there, and you might see an a great number of classmates gone. This cut has lead to the closing of some schools, leaving kids to find other sources of schooling. This cut in the budget is necessary, and I believe that they have tried every which way possible to do it differently, but this is the only possible way. All we can do now is accept it and deal with it, and hope for a better situation next year.

"Velarde testifies he received HGH injections from Bonds' trainer"
The famous Barry Bonds trial is almost to an end. Almost enough evidence to end this trial with a 'guilty' verdict, Randy Verlarde testifies against Barry bonds, saying that he has gotten regularly injections of growth hormones. Verlarde testifies that he paid 500$ to 800$ for each injection, often times meeting him in a parking lot outside of his spring baseball practice.
At least three more ballplayers testified against the claim that Mr.Bonds did not know that these were growth hormones. Eight more people, doctors from UCLA, Bonds' former shoppers, etc, came up and testified with chains of evidence leading towards this. It seems the whole team were taking these growth hormones, accelerating their strength and speed. This case can only have so much time before it reaches it's verdict.

The horrific earthquake and tsunami that had struck japan not so long ago has it's after effects. As millions of dollars are going into helping the victims of this natural disaster, the nuclear reactors that have been hit are having a meltdown. Hundreds of earthquake victims have been homeless, in need of food and help, they cry out for the loved ones they've lost.
As the situation unfolds, we witness the horrors that a natural disaster can cause, leaving us stuck to our seats in horror as our eyes search for any way to help them.

The rule of thirds are in this photo giving the student more space and also leading lines because the student's hands create a line.

I thought all the shots were good. They were all very interesting.

My favorite photo was of the rhino, it was a profile view of the rhino and the reflection on the water was also pretty clear.

b. What is his reason for taking the photos? He treats the photography of the wild animals of Africa as a fine art form.

School Uniforms.
Topic: School Uniforms
The school board has decided to create a district wide policy of enforcing school uniforms. Who would you need to interview to find out more information about this topic? What are some good questions to ask? (This is theoretical)

The story failed to go along and it would sometimes be random and the photos weren't that good.

Touching People
1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
I think it's a great way for people to step out of their comfort zone and get to know someone else. It's a great icebreaker in my opinion.
2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger? I'd hesitate at first to be comfortable touching someone else but then I'd be okay with it.
3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
I would go and shoot strangers smiling, I think that would be fun to see everyone's different smiles.
4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take? The photography was nice, the subjects were in focus. In some of the photos he used a background that wouldn't merge. I think in some he used the rule of thirds.

Cool advertising idea
I like this one the best becuse of the detail that they added to each hand and the phone they're using isn't as old as the other ones on the other ads.
It would influence me to buy an AT&T phone because the ad will catch my attention and made me look more into the company and the phone and eventually buy one.
